Woven on the handloom in Sambalpur, Odisha, this pink kurti carries the quiet rhythm of Bandhakala, the tie-dye art where the yarn is resist-dyed before it ever meets the loom. The result is the soft, feathered edge to each motif that only true Sambalpuri work gives — fine vertical bands broken by small dotted figures. Dyed in natural colours and light on the shoulder at around 250 grams, it is an easy, breathable everyday piece that carries a maker's hand in every metre.
